Nicholas JELLISON. Son of
Robart JELLISON & ?_____ JELLISON?. Born 1620. Christen
23 Jan 1620 in St. James, Clerkenwell, London, Eng. Died 1715.
He married Barbara GREEN, daughter of John GREEN & Judith BLOTT,1680
in Berwick, Me.alive 1721.
Living on 50 acres granted him Apr. 13, 1671, near White's Marsh,
now South Berwick, on road to Wells. Sept. 10, 1706 he deeded
this place to three sons who in July 1715 were orderd to support
their aged father and mother. Widow Barbara ( Green) petitioned
for relief Apr 4 1721, as her children were not supporting her
1680 in South Berwick.
They had the following children:
- Ichabod JELLISON
- John JELLISON; Born 1680 in Berwick, York, Me age 3 in 1683. Died Before 1706 in as he is not mentioned in fathers will.
John given land by grand-father Green in 1680, not named in fathers deed 1706.
- Nicholas Jr JELLISON; Born 1683. Died 1730. Name spelled Gellison.
Right to land sold to Elisha Hill in Berwick feb. 19, 1729
- Joseph JELLISON; Born 1686/1688 in Berwick, York, Me. Occupation Yeoman.
Sold land in Berwick June 20,1723 to Ichabod Goodwin
Joseph 2 resided in Berwick and bought 1/4 of his father's homestead from his brother Ichabod. He was a yeoman.
- Richard JELLISON; Born 25 May 1714 in Berwick, York, Me.
