Charles Edward COSSABOOM. Son of William COSSABOOM & Mary Eliza CORNWALL. Born 1835 in Gullivers Cove, Digby, Nova Scotia. Charles Edward COSSABOOM age 62 [63 in affidavit] He was a farmer and resident of Smith's Cove. Charles died in 1908 as a result of a fire in his home. CEC Obituary

He first married Sarah Ann DENTON, on November 29, 1857 at Digby Neck, Digby, Nova Scotia. Sarah Ann was born 29 Dec 1838, the daughter of John DENTON & Rhoda WESCOTT. Sarah Ann (Denton) COSSABOOM died on 13 April 1901. They had the following children:

Laliah or Laleah COSSABOOM; born August 4, 1865. Died in the spring of 1880.

He second married Mary Eliza BARR, daughter of William BARR & Mary ?, on June 22, 1901 in Hill Grove (Baptist) Digby, Co Nova Scotia. Mary was born on September 22, 1861 in Weymouth. She died 1934 in Malden,Ma age 74.Resident Hill Grove (Joggin). She came to US after 1908. Died of Gall stones. Religion Baptist Marrige Lic #21/1901 Digby. They had the following children:

Mary C COSSABOOM. Daughter of William COSSABOOM & Mary Eliza CORNWALL. Mary was born about 1835 in Gullivers Cove Digby, NS and died 1903 in Boston, MA. She married John Henry LENT about 1851. John was born on January 26, 1828 in Clements, NS and died after 1893 in Boston, MA. They had the following Children:

Charles Bernard LENT; Born 1860. Married Harriet A WOODWORTH. Had the following children:

James William COSSABOOM. Son of William COSSABOOM & Mary Eliza CORNWALL. Born 1 Apr 1847 in Gullivers Cove, Digby, Nova Scotia. Died 1938 in Digby, Nova Scotia. He married Myriah Marie Eliza HANKINSON. Born 1853 in Digby, Nova Scotia. Died 1939. They had the following children:

William Henry COSSABOOM; Born 16 Sep 1875 in Gullivers Cove, Digby, NS. Died March 1970 in Annapolis Royal, NS. Buried in Port Maitland Ce, NS. He married Edith Ethel MARSHALL. Born 1880 in South Range, Digby, Nova Scotia. Died 1978.
Mary Eliza COSSABOOM; Born 1878 in Rossway, Digby, Nova Scotia. Died 25 Sep 1920 in Bear River, Digby, Nova Scotia. She married John Byron GILLILAND.
Isabel Clarissa COSSABOOM; Born 1881 in Rossway, Digby, Nova Scotia. She married Jesse Avard MARSHALL, 20 Nov 1907 in Digby, Nova Scotia.
Ethel Beatrice COSSABOOM; Born 1883 in Rossway, Digby, Nova Scotia. She married Willard Ellsworth MERRITT.
Laura V. COSSABOOM; Born 1888 in Rossway, Digby, Nova Scotia. Died 4 May 1923 in Digby, Nova Scotia. She married Ernest GILLILAND.
Florence COSSABOOM; Born 17 Oct 1889 in Rossway, Digby, Nova Scotia. She married Frank HAZELTON.
