Captain Henry BARR Born 1763 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Died 25 Sep 1855 in Weymouth, Novia Scotia. He was 92 years old. Governor granted to Captain Henry BARR and others a township between Annapolis and Clare heretofore known as Conway, now known as Digby. One hundred thousand acres in last decade of 18th century. He married Elizabeth BENNETT, Of New York in 1783. Elizabeth was the daughter of Robert BENNETT. They homesteaded in the Weymouth NS area in 1783. They had the following children:
